Zoe's story in brief
Zoe is an adopted child of the Unjust League, like Amadeus, who says her hair has shown her mood since she was a girl. It is black while she waits and yellow once the hunt is on. She grew up in the suburbs north of Noxholm, where taxes bled the poor, nobles tormented commoners for amusement and cults went looking for converts. The lesson she took from it was to get strong enough that nobody else decides her fate.
She fights at the front, takes wounds without slowing and has never cared about being called a villain. Around the Adventurers' Camp she is known for tavern brawls and for stealing bounty jobs from other hunters, and mothers use her name to make children behave. The same camp has voted her Best Vanguard Captain more than once, and the novelist Smith made her the lead of his romance Fluttering Heart. Her exclusive skills carry the reputation in their names, Death Or Glory and Dark Lady.
