- Offensive Defense's Rally Squad Lethality buff makes her the Gen 6 rally-lead pick, mirroring Thrud's role for Gen 5 Cavalry rallies.
- Ice Zone's archer-only proc means she wants her frontline handling crowd control rather than melee, which is where Sophia's Confusion kit frees up the enemy backline.
- Triton is the natural Infantry frontline for a paid Yang/Sophia Gen 6 core.
Yang's story in brief
Yang is the Winter Huntress of the polar lands, trusted because she stays calm when a situation turns bad. She tracks any animal, finds the way through storms and organizes everyone's escape when danger closes in. She also jokes at the campfire and builds snowmen with her board to keep spirits up, on the view that losing your nerve kills faster than a blizzard.
A century ago the royal oracles sent the kingdom's fleets north, and the two lands traded and helped each other for years. Then a great storm froze the polar seas and cut the north off. When the ice thawed and a party finally traveled south, the kingdom was gone, torn apart by rebels, with the royal bloodlines in hiding. The polar elders met in secret and decided to send someone to find the last of the royal line. Before she leaves, Yang admits she fears the journey will change her, and an elder answers that a ship is defined by where it is headed. The snow follows her into Avalanche and Ice Zone.

Frequently asked questions
Is Yang worth building?
Yes, highest base Attack in her generation at launch, 7,200, plus Offensive Defense gives Gen 6 its first direct rally Lethality buff.
Does Yang work in a mixed-troop lineup?
Her raw numbers travel, but Ice Zone, her strongest single proc, only fires for archer squads, so a mixed lineup loses that piece of her kit.
